Growth in the US, Jameson’s largest export market, contributed to the brand’s salestone with an impressive one million cases sold there.

Despite the recent economic downturn, Jameson’s sales volume increased by nine per cent while value grew by 12 per cent for the year ending June 2010.

While US sales grew by 24 per cent, with 49 states in double-digit growth, key markets such as Russia (up eight per cent), South Africa and France (both up seven per cent) also enjoyed success.

Jameson was named ‘Spirits Brand of the Year’ in the US publication Market Watch  as voted for by the top 200 retailers in the US this year.
