Irish forecourt retailers are often cited as the best in the world, with the latest accolade being a visit by delegates as part of the Insight Operational Inspiration tour later this year.

Over the next few months, Insight, a global monitoring and strategy agency for the retail industry, will be touring some of the world’s convenience retail sectors, with a visit to Dublin scheduled for November 13 – 15. Ireland, as you may know, is acknowledged internationally as a global leader in convenience and fuel retailing, and so the visit aims to explore how

Irish entrepreneurs and operators have managed to make “a huge leap forward” through a variety of innovations and inventive operational strategies, in both city centre and roadside locations. Some of the host stores for the Dublin leg of the tour, dubbed “Operational Inspiration” will include Applegreen, Maxol, Musgrave and Fresh, winner of the 2018 NACS International Convenience Retailer of the Year award.
