BIC has launched the UK and Ireland’s first branded bioplastic shaver; BIC ecolutions. BIC converts corn, a renewable resource, into a resistant plastic.

A lubricating strip with aloe and vitamin E provides comfort and precision for sensitive skin. BIC’s packaging has been reduced and uses 100% recycled bleach free cardboard, and like the shaver, is coloured from vegetable based pigments. Statistics show 75% of consumers are ready to buy green.

However, 64% don’t because they perceive it is too expensive and not widely available. BIC ecolutions  will revolutionise the market with a RRP of €3.79 for a four-pack.
