Argentinian wine is renowned the world over, and to celebrate one of its most popular varieties - Malbec - the Argentine embassy is once again arranging its Argentine Wine Fair at Dublin's Merrion Hotel.

World Malbec Day takes place on 17 April, and to coincide with the 8th edition of the event, the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Dublin will hold its 6th Argentine Wine Fair on Wednesday 11th April, 2018, in association with Wines of Argentina.

Malbec wines will be celebrated at the 2018 Argentine Wine Fair, along with a wide selection of the many other styles available in this prolific wine producing country.

The theme of the 2018 Argentine Wine Fair is “Malbec you know it and you don’t”. A themed table will highlight the regionality and individual vineyard styles of Malbec available here.

The 2018 Argentine Trade Tasting will take place  in the Wellesley and Fitzgerald Rooms at the Merrion Hotel, Upper Merrion Street, Dublin 2 from midday – 6pm. Trade & Press only.

The wineries talking part in the 2018 Argentine Fair include:

Alta Vista, Altos Las Hormigas, Amalaya, Andeluna Cellars, Barbarian, Bodega Callia, Clos de Chacras, Bodega Colomé, Bodega la Rosa, Domaine Bousquet, Doña Paula, Bodega Fabre, Frexinet, Hess Family Estates, Kaiken,  Finca Buenaventura, Finca Las Moras, Finca Sophenia,  Bodega Luigi Bosca, Masi Tupengato, Mendel, Proemio Wines, Bodega y Viñedos Renacer S.A.,  Bodegas Salentein and Trapiche
