Recent years have seen Ireland’s food and cuisine culture undergo a renaissance of sorts. Hundreds of restaurants in the capital and around the country offer a multitude of international flavours, and this year’s Taste of Dublin food festival aims to reflect that.
Taste of Dublin takes place at Dublin’s picturesque Iveagh Gardens from June 15th – 17th, in partnership with Electrolux. More than 32,000 people are expected to attend the event, where the finest in Irish food and drink will be showcased and celebrated. To reflect the “Flavours of the World” theme, there will be a strong international presence, whereby exhibitors will incorporate a foreign cuisine element into their menus.
“As well as their favourite dishes, people will be able to taste Flavours of the World, be it a foreign twist on an Irish classic, or an international icon prepared by some of the greatest chefs and restaurants operating in this country,” says Avril Bannerton, Taste of Dublin’s managing director.
Taste of Dublin will see many leading chefs from Ireland and beyond provide exclusive live demonstrations and cooking of the highest calibre, including Clodagh McKenna, Danny Barry, Darina Allen, Jean Christophe Novelli, Kevin Dundon, Neven Maguire and many more.
