Genius is the first ever fresh gluten and wheat free bread, according to its makers, to “look, taste and feel every bit as good as a freshly-baked traditional loaf.”  Following a successful UK launch in May, Genius has now launched in Ireland – available in a brown or white loaf. Medical research shows one in 100 of the Irish population now suffers from coeliac disease, with even more experiencing wheat/gluten intolerance.  Genius is the invention of a mother with three young children, two of whom have food allergies. Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne is also a professionally trained chef, having worked at Michelin starred restaurant Bibendum, and co-authored the award-winning Leith’s Techniques Bible. Genius is available from Castle King Services, with a RRP of €4.59.
