Four people have been arrested after alleged assault in Spar Ranelagh.
The attack on the individual is believed to have taken place on Wednesday afternoon in the urban village in the southside of Dublin.
In a statement shared with ShelfLife, a Garda spokesperson, said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an alleged assault in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 on Wednesday 2 September 2026 shortly before 1:30pm.
“Gardaí arrested four individuals who are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 in Garda Stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
“A male has been conveyed to hospital for treatment. Injuries believed to be non-life threatening at the time.”
Investigations are ongoing.
