FMI launches telesales operation
Field Management Ireland has launched a telesales service for clients, a 24-seater multi-channel operation from its new telecentre, based in its Dundrum Head Office in South Dublin.

FMI, which recruits, trains and manages hundreds of field personnel on behalf of its FMCG clients, has launched the new facility to enhance its existing field sales operation and “to provide an extremely cost-effective way of reaching all of its client customers all of the time in an era where spend on field sales operations has been dramatically reduced and suppliers simply can’t afford to visit all their customers as frequently as they used to,” explained FMI’s Chief Executive Charley Stoney.
The screens and technology behind the new telecentre offer the operators simultaneous access to e-mail, web and phones, enabling an agent to communicate with a client’s customers via web online chat, web browsing or simply by telephone.
“Specifically for on-trade, the service provided would be highly appropriate for new product launches and seasonal sales blitz activities to provide pull-through for wholesalers and distributors around the country for specific supplier brands,” she added.
