Eristoff awarded ‘Excellent’ in 2013 Ultimate Spirits Challenge

Eristoff: - now the fourth-largest vodka in Ireland.

Eristoff, one of the fastest-growing vodka brands in the world, recently achieved an ‘Excellent’ award in the 2013 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, scoring an impressive 91 points out of 100 in the blind taste test, positioning the brand in the ‘Highly Recommended’ category.

The Ultimate Spirits Challenge is judged by an expert panel brought together by competition organiser Ultimate Beverage Challenge, which undertakes a rigorous assessment of all entries at a dedicated event in New York. Each spirit entering the competition undergoes a blind tasting and is awarded a score based on a 100-point scale. A score of 90-94 points indicates a spirit that’s ‘excellent, highly recommended.’

The panel’s tasting notes describe Eristoff as: “Fresh and clean, like spring water, with a hint of starch and oats. A grainy sweetness emerges on the palate and suggestions of fruit stone and minerals emerging, before dissipating and finishing smooth and crisp.”

This latest award highlights the success of Eristoff in recent months. The brand has received a Gold Medal from the Beverage Testing Institute in its annual International Review of Spirits Competition and a Silver Outstanding award from the International Wine & Spirit Competition for excellent taste.

It was also ranked seventh by the International Wine & Spirit Research in its 2011 Elite Brands list in recognition of sustained international growth.
