Created by iTradeNetwork, the new website www.edwarddillondirect.ie allows the online purchase of spirits, champagnes and premium wines. Edward Dillon has made a significant investment to work to build, manage and maintain this new system which will be available to the on-trade and independent off-licences for the launch phase.
 
Using iTradeNetwork’s latest Supplier Storefront technology, the site is fully compatible with PC, laptop or mobile device. Functionality, such as order history and favourites, make ordering quicker and more efficient, plus a range of highly visual targeted promotional offers ensures that customers never miss out on the best deals and offers.
 
“We understand that convenience in ordering is key in an industry where working unsociable hours is commonplace,” commented Andy O’Hara, Chief Executive of Edward Dillon & Co, “We know that managers want to be front-of-house during busy periods rather than on the telephone with suppliers so by creating a site that will allow our customers to purchase products online at any time of the day and from any location, we’ve made this process easier and more streamlined for our customers across the country.”
 
iTradeNetwork already works extensively across the drink and pub sector in the UK but this is the first time it has provided its solutions to an Irish supplier.
 
Customers will be able to register on www.edwarddillondirect.ie and apply for a password via the website.
