Dunnes creates 500 new jobs as two more stores open

Dunnes Stores has announced it will create 230 new jobs this month with the opening of two new stores at Saggart, Co. Dublin and South Gate Centre, Drogheda. These latest two developments follow the recent opening of a Dunnes Stores in Roscrea, as well as the completion of newly extended stores in Clonmel and Carlow, all of which have created employment for 500 people.

In the heart of Saggart village, the new store has a full grocery offer and large deli participation, and offers customers 150 free parking spaces. The 40,000 sq ft site in the new South Gate Centre at Colp Cross, Drogheda, however, will offer a mix of textile, food and home ware items. The South Gate store is the fourth in the company’s Drogheda portfolio, and brings the total employed by Dunnes Stores from the area to 450.

The new store will also offer customers 450 parking spaces and have extended opening hours for Christmas .
To celebrate the opening weekend for both new sites, Dunnes Stores offer customers 25% back on ValueClub thoughout the Grocery Store in Saggart and across all Food, Fashion and Home Depts in the new Dunnes Stores, South Gate.
