Local family butcher, Dublin Meat Company is set to open its fifth butchers store next week in Stillorgan.

The group is currently gearing up to open a shop in Unit 2, Stillorgan Plaza (beside Lidl), next Wednesday, 13 August. This will be the Dublin Meat Company’s first shop on the southside of the capital. The company currently operates four successful shops on the northside of the city, in Swords, Artane, Kinsealy and Blanchardstown, and now has over 30 full-time employees.

Dublin Meat Company is an Irish family-owned butchery with over 40 years’ experience. Its mantra is “Premium Meat at Wholesale Prices”. The group says it supplies 100% Irish beef, pork, bacon and lamb to consumers at up to 40% less than the supermarkets, with no compromise on quality. It claims this is based on a simple concept, namely: “We keep our overheads low to pass on the savings to our loyal customer base.”

From 19 – 22 August, the company will have the ambassador for the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland, chef Adrian Martin in-store at Stillorgan. Starting at a very young age, Martin trained with some of Ireland’s most renowned chefs, including Neven Maguire. He will be cooking in-store all week and will be on hand to give recipes and tips to customers.

Dublin Meat Company also has an online shop, www.dublinmeatcompany.com, which offers nationwide delivery within 24 hours in temperature-controlled boxes. The group is currently running daily competitions to win vouchers for its new Stillorgan store on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/dublin.meat.company) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/DublinMeatCo).
