NOffLA and Discover the Origin would like to thank everyone who attended the Vins de Bourgogne wine tasting seminars hosted by expert wine consultant and writer Kevin Ecock in Dublin, Cork and Galway over the last year. We received excellent feedback from attendees, who also learned about pairing Bourgogne wines with food, including a special tasting of Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese and Parma Ham, which are also part of the Discover the Origin campaign.

Discover the Origin is an established European Union campaign designed to educate and excite food and wine fans about food and drink products, all with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. The initiative unites a tantalising fusion of fine food and wine, including Parma Ham, Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, Bourgogne Wines, Port and Douro Wines. Each product is unique to the region in which it is produced and celebrated the world over for its flavours, history and traditions. This was the first year the campaign took place in Ireland and more events are currently being planned. We look forward to seeing industry members at future seminars.
