Ireland is a nation of foodies, with people wanting to know more about where their food and drink are being sourced, as well as the traditions behind the production process. The Discover the Origin campaign unites a delicious fusion of five Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) products: Parma Ham, Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, Burgundy Wines, Port and Douro Wines. Each product in the Discover the Origin campaign is unique to the region in which it is produced and celebrated the world over for its flavours, history and traditions.

Tapping into this thirst for knowledge and aiming to promote food and drink that has real provenance Discover the Origin and NOffLA are planning a series of practical and informative masterclass sessions in 2012. These will raise awareness of PDO products among industry professionals with the first taking place on February 20 at The Westin Hotel, 35-39 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2, from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.

Register for free today by e-mailing your details to Elaine@noffla.ie and discover why the iconic wines of the Burgundy region are so good they have received international recognition.
