Registrations are now open for Rioja Wines’ biggest trade tasting in several years, ‘100km of Diversity’.

Members of the trade are invited to journey through Rioja’s three zones, to meet the region’s dynamic producers, discover its diverse terroir and taste over 200 wines.

100km of Diversity offers the chance to connect with winemakers and importers, many of whom will be travelling to Ireland.

Visitors can try the latest Viñedos Singulares, the finest Espumosos de Rioja, barrel aged whites, elegant rosados, classic Gran Reservas and everything in between. There will also be the chance to discover wines not yet available in Ireland.

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend a seminar hosted by Tim Atkin MW, who will be exploring one of Rioja’s most recently adopted classification categories, the Viñedos Singulares. Tim will take attendees through the evolution of this category, bringing to life the land, the vines, the wines and the people who make them.

Rioja Wine’s 100km of Diversity trade tasting will take place on Wednesday, 16 November from 10am to 5pm at The Westbury, Dublin.  Please note this event is strictly for members of the wine trade.

Registrations for 100km of Diversity can be made by emailing Jean Smullen: jean@jeansmullen.com
