The non-alcoholic market is now a ‘huge growth sector’ in Ireland, according to recent Nielsen data that shows the market currently growing at 15% on MAT (AC Nielsen February 2008).

Recent changes in Irish legislation, in addition to increasing health consciousness, has created substantial demand for non-alcoholic products, says Heineken Ireland, who has accordingly introduced Paulaner Non-Alcoholic to the Irish market.

The NA beer from Germany’s number one weissbier brand is only 0.05% ABV, with the same flavour as the popular Paulaner. The launch coincides with the brand’s arrangement to become the official pouring partner at this year’s Irish Examiner Spiegeltent, at the Cork Midsummer Festival, where Paulaner Non-Alcoholic will also be making a splash.
