DCC completes Esso takeover

DCC Energy, the technology conglomerate that operates 672 retail service stations across Europe, has completed its takeover of Esso SAF’s unmanned and motorway retail petrol station network in France.
The Irish Times reports the acquisition to be worth €106m plus stock. Having already acquired Swedish outlet QStar last year DCC is continuing plans to add to its presence in the transport fuels sector.
The international company made the announcement yesterday after being granted the relevant clearances.
