During the conference, winners of The Carlton Best of Festival Marketing Awards were announced, celebrating the best Irish festival’s visual marketing material of the season. These annual awards highlight the quality of the work undertaken by festival committees across the country. In association with Fáilte Ireland and the Gathering 2013, this is where the art, people and business of festivals and events converge.

"We’re thrilled to have won this national award as we were up against stiff competition from the two other short-listed festivals – Cork Mid-Summer Festival and the Waterford Festival of Food,” said Hilary McCarthy, CFSFF’s Press Officer, “It’s great to see a young film festival without a cinema being put on the national festival map ".
