Coca-Cola HBC has donated more than 10,000 bottles of Deep RiverRock Water to the North East region to assist families left in difficulty due to the ongoing water crisis.

To help alleviate some of the water challenges being faced by the north east region, Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland donated 10,032 bottles of Deep RiverRock water to the Order of Malta Ambulance Corp,  Drogheda.

The 19 pallets were delivered to the Order of Malta’s Drogheda base at Laurence’s Gate on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 July, with the support of Senator Ged Nash.

“Giving back to communities is part of how Coca-Cola does business, and as a proud employer across the country, we have invested in communities across the island of Ireland for many years,” said Paul McDonnell, regional manager for Coca-Cola HBC.  “We already donate a significant amount water and other product to charity and community groups annually and with the recent water challenges across the North East,  we were proud to be able to lend our support to the region with the donation of more than 10,000 bottles of our Deep RiverRock water.

“We hope this contribution helped with some of the challenges being experienced by the local community,” he added.
