Centra takes home 47 accolades at the 2021 Great Taste Awards
Group retains its title as number one award winning convenience retailer, with eight two star and 39 one star awards

Centra has claimed 47 accolades at this year’s 2021 Great Taste Awards, making them the number one award winning convenience retailer in Ireland.
With quality and convenience top of mind, the ‘Inspired By Centra’ range took home 17 wins after being tried and tested by a panel of over 500 experts. Launched in 2018, the ‘Inspired by Centra’ range uses the highest quality home grown ingredients from trusted suppliers.
The Inspired by Centra Angus Striploin Steaks won two stars, while its Inspired by Centra Rotisserie Chicken available hot from the deli and the Inspired by Centra Tomato and Mozzarella Sourdough Pizza both won one star.
With everything you need for an award-winning breakfast, Centra has a huge selection of products to choose from such as Inspired by Centra Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, Superquinn sausages, Inspired by Centra Cherrywood Smoked Rashers, Centra butter, Wheaten soda loaf, Raspberry Jam and Sultana Fruit Scone, all awarded one star.

The Great Taste Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the world’s largest blind tasting awards and the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink.
