Centra gives kids the opportunity of honing their rugby skills and meeting their favourite heroes from the Connacht and Leinster squads
16 April 2009
Leinster and Ireland star Luke Fitzgerald was out in force to help Centra kick off its rugby summer camps. The new sports camps are aimed at budding rugby stars aged from six to 12 years of age and will run throughout July and August in a range of venues in Leinster, Munster and Connacht.
This is the second year Centra has sponsored the rugby camps, providing young enthusiasts with the opportunity to keep active and healthy, and boost their skills. Kids will also get to meet their favourite Rugby heroes from the Leinster, Munster and Connacht rugby squads, who will make an appearance during the week.
Centra brand communications manager Des O’Mahony commented: “Centra is once again delighted to sponsor the rugby summer camps… Rugby is a hugely popular sport in Ireland and even more so after Ireland’s historic Grand Slam win, and Centra is proud to give the budding stars of the future a chance to learn from the best and have a bit of fun at the same time.”
