Capital Marketing, new entrant to Ireland’s €1.2bn branded premia market, recently marked its official launch, by announcing its ambition to double its workforce in 2016 and grow its roster of Irish manufacturers and suppliers to service increased demand among domestic and international clients.

Industry stalwart and former planner at McConnells Advertising, Hugh Finlay co-founded Capital Marketing, putting a specialist team in place to deliver innovative brand campaigns that pack a powerful promotional punch. In the first six months, the company says it has grown at pace, adding several major clients from multinational financial and legal institutions, to global consumer brands.

Hugh Finlay said the company was launching at “a pitch perfect time, there’s much more confidence and optimism in the air and we’re finding that clients are wanting to invest in tried and tested advertising mediums such as promotional products, which can be a high-impact and cost-effective way to get a brand noticed.”

Capital Marketing has a network of accredited suppliers with products sourced and manufactured both locally in Ireland, and further afield in Asia and EMEA. Due to an increase in demand among clients for Irish-produced premia, Capital Marketing is actively investing in building its network of local manufacturers and suppliers that can deliver Irish-made branded products at scale. The company can source and produce a wide range of premia from high quality, low cost branded items through to bespoke promotional merchandise.

“We are one of the few brand marketing solutions companies that can offer its clients a dedicated design team, who I believe are some of most creative and talented designers in the industry,” Finlay added.

Also, announced at the launch was the  appointment of Nicola Kenny as Capital Marketing’s key account manager, bringing with her over six years of industry expertise across both account management and business development in the areas of brand marketing, recruitment and technology.

Chairman of Insomnia Coffee Company, Bobby Kerr also attended the launch describing Capital Marketing’s opening as a welcome enhancement to Ireland’s reputation as a hub for designing and manufacturing premium products.
