Butlers Chocolates sponsors Irish Food Writing Awards
The Irish Food Writing Awards return 13 November at Dublin’s RDS, celebrating excellence in food and drink writing with Butlers Chocolates as sponsor.

The Irish Food Writing Awards ceremony will take place on 13 November in the RDS in Dublin.
This is the fifth year of the awards, established to acknowledge the highest achievements in books, journalism, restaurant critiques, feature writing, recipe writing, photography, podcasts and social media on Irish food and drink.
Judging
Uniquely, the awards are judged only by the most prestigious UK and International media, ensuring impartiality.
Entries are currently accepted via the website: https://www.irishfoodwritingawards.ie/.
Each year the categories are revised to ensure that they best reflect the current landscape for food and drink content.
This year sees Butlers Chocolates sponsor The Food and Drink Magazine Award – a hotly contested category.
For 2025 it is being judged by Felicity Cloake, food writer and award winning Guardian columnist.

Established in Dublin in 1932, Butlers premium chocolates are made using sustainably sourced cocoa and contain zero palm oil.

Its café at 51 Grafton Street, has just re-opened after a gorgeous glow up and now offers a pre-order kiosk for added convenience for time-pressed visitors.
Butlers factory is also home to the company’s Visitor Experience.
Tickets can be booked online for Butlers The Factory Tour, where visitors can get to see the workings of a real life chocolate factory, in the company of a tour guide, in addition to perfecting their own skills as chocolatiers.
This is a great venue for a lovely family day out, school tour or birthday.
There is also an onsite Butlers Chocolate Café with plenty of free parking.
