Bulmers sponsors Tall Ships

Bulmers brought free music to Waterford recently with The Bulmers Live Music Trail where bands performed free-of-charge on the main Live stages and in pubs all over Waterford city during The Tall Ships Races 2011.

O Emperor lined up alongside Bryan Ferry, The Waterboys and Sharon Shannon with guests Damien Dempsey and Dessie O’Halloran on the main Live stages from 30th June to 3rd July. A host of live pub entertainment was also on offer on the Bulmers Live Music Trail.
 
Sponsorships Manager at Bulmers Marcus Goodwin said, “This is Bulmers’ third live music offering this Summer and it is one of the key elements of our sponsorship of The Tall Ships Races Waterford 2011”.

People came to the city in their hundreds of thousands.  It’s estimated that more than €30 million of economic activity was generated across the four days and there were 420,000 visits to the city quays across the three days.
