Bulmers announces Tall Ships Races sponsorship

Bulmers is sponsoring Ireland’s largest free Summer festival in 2011, the Tall Ships Races, which takes place between June 30th and July 3rd in Waterford.

Bulmers announced Tall Ships Races sponsorship
Bulmers is sponsoring Ireland’s largest free Summer festival in 2011, the Tall Ships Races, which takes place between June 30th and July 3rd in Waterford.  
The event is expects to attract over 500,000 visitors over the four days and is likely to boost the Waterford’s economy to the tune of €35 million.
Bulmers (together with host port partners 3 and Waterford Crystal as well as media partner RTE and education partner Waterford Institute) has provided funding and related supports worth more than €450,000.
Speaking at the announcement, Marcus Goodwin of Bulmers stated, “The Tall Ships Races in Waterford is going to be one of the highlights of 2011 and is a natural fit for Bulmers both in terms of location and the Bulmers Live music offering.  
“One of our key associations will be on the evening entertainment programme and the music that will help bring the event to life over the four days. We look forward to working with our trade partners in Waterford and being part of something very special in our home region”.
