Boyne Valley Honey has been officially announced as the 2025 Breakfast Partner of Darkness into Light.
Darkness Into Light is the annual fundraising event for Pieta and is ‘proudly’ supported by Electric Ireland.
The event takes place this year on Saturday, 10 May at venues all around the country.
Raising vital funds
In a bid to raise vital funds for Pieta and to encourage consumers to sign up to the Darkness Into Light event, the honey brand has launched a limited edition Darkness Into Light pack.
25 cents from the sale of each promotional bottle will be donated to Pieta, and is available in stores across the country in the run up to the all important event.
It is expected that up to 12,000 participants will descend on the iconic Darkness into Light Phoenix Park venue this year to take part in the most important sunrise of the year.
As the sun rises, Boyne Valley Honey will be there to greet participants at their Sunshine Breakfast Bar where they will serve up a ‘delicious, hearty and hot’ breakfast that will not only warm up participants but will offer a moment to pause and reflect on why this is such a momentous day, not only in Ireland, but throughout the world.
This year, Boyne Valley Honey is also bringing the Sunshine Breakfast Bar to the Drogheda Darkness into Light event, a town with huge significance for the brand having been founded there over 65 years ago.
