Blackberry Hearing partners with Tesco Ireland to expand nationwide presence
Tesco Clubcard holders can now enjoy triple savings on hearing devices and accessories across Blackberry Hearing’s 60 locations

Blackberry Hearing, a premier Irish-owned hearing aid provider, has secured a landmark partnership with Tesco Ireland, bringing dedicated hearing experience stores to five key Tesco locations.
The new outlets are located at Tesco Extra stores at Naas, Maynooth, Portlaoise, Gorey and Ballincollig.
Major milestone
This partnership marks a major milestone for Blackberry Hearing as it expands its nationwide presence.
The rollout will continue throughout the year, with several more Tesco locations expected to feature Blackberry Hearing stores.
In addition to its retail expansion, Blackberry Hearing is now an official Tesco Clubcard Rewards Partner, enabling Tesco Clubcard holders to use their Clubcard vouchers for 3x savings on hearing devices and accessories at any of Blackberry Hearing’s 60 locations across Ireland.

The official announcement of the partnership aligns with Tesco’s quarterly customer statement which was released this month and reinforces the strategic collaboration between the two brands.
Hearing aid market
Founded in 2015 by Dave Gleeson and John Ryan, Blackberry Hearing was created to fill a gap in the Irish hearing aid market by providing premium-quality hearing solutions at competitive prices.
Over the past decade, the company has grown into one of Ireland’s largest hearing aid providers, building a reputation for outstanding customer service.
Recently, Blackberry Hearing secured private equity investment from Abbey International Finance, positioning the company for significant scalable growth.

Currently employing 45 people, Blackberry Hearing plans to hire an additional 20 employees in 2025 in order to support its growing operations.
Expansion strategy
As part of its ambitious expansion strategy, Blackberry Hearing has recently acquired Donegal Hearing, based in Moville, Co. Donegal.
This business will now transition into a Blackberry Hearing clinic, further strengthening the company’s presence in the northwest of Ireland.
The company is currently in negotiations to acquire additional hearing care businesses across the country, reinforcing its position as a leading force in the industry.
