Beer & Cider drops Q1 OOH spend 5.1%

Heineken Ireland topped the ‘Out Of Home’ advertising spend between January and March this year but reduced its share of the OOH market by one per cent to 2.96 per cent, according to PML Group.

Heineken was also top spender in Q1 on ambient media with an 8.02 Share Of Voice.

Coca-Cola was the fifth top digital OOH advertiser in Q1 and Diageo Ireland came in in seventh place with a share of 1.94 per cent, down 32 per cent.

As a category, Beers and Ciders had a 5.1 per cent share of OOH advertising in Q1, a decline of 14 per cent overall.
After Food and Telecoms (19.28 per cent and 11.68 per cent respectively) the Beers & Ciders category took a 9.67 per cent Share Of Voice.
