Be prepared to adapt your offering

Some cinemas have adapted to changing consumer demand and provided appropriate offerings at different times of day.

So stated Karen Reid of Movies@ who spoke at this year’s SFA Conference about how her cinemas had adapted.
Consumer profiles can be very different at different times of the day, she pointed out.

“A very different type of customer comes to matinees than would come in the evenings,” she observed, “We therefore have different concession offerings to match the customer type.”
