Following negotiations, Ballygowan has announced that it has signed a deal with Munster Rugby to extend its sponsorship as the official water to the squad. As part of its agreement, Ballygowan will supply over 200,000 litres of mineral water over the term of the contract.

In addition, Ballygowan also signed a deal with Thomond Park, guaranteeing the Munster water brand exclusive pouring rights at the new 26,500 seat stadium. The deal extends to Britvic Ireland, allowing the soft drinks company exclusive pouring rights in its category also.
