Applegreen has announced a partnership with Fuelservice, an app that aims to make life a little easier for disabled drivers. Through Fuelservice, drivers will have the ability to contact Applegreen stations ahead of their arrival, to request assistance at the pump. Once the driver arrives on the forecourt, they can notify staff of their position and vehicle details.

FuelService is a fully managed cloud-based solution that works with the existing telephone in the station for communication. When a driver makes a request, the phone rings and the station staff press 1 if they can help, or 2 if they can’t. It’s a quick and easy system for letting drivers know if assistance is available.

FuelService helps overcome some of these challenges for disabled drivers and gives fuel stations the opportunity to offer a comprehensive and inclusive service all of their customers.
