Smart Marketing Awards call on Ireland’s smartest marketing minds to pit it out for a prestigious ‘Fox’

Ireland’s smartest and most innovative marketers are being invited to enter their best campaigns from the last 12 months for the annual An Post Smart Marketing Awards.

The highly competitive awards, and its expert panel of judges, is reputed for honing in on bold and inventive campaigns executed by the most ambitious marketing teams the industry has to offer.  Stand out campaigns need only apply for what has become a highly sought out industry accolade.  Bold and inventive thinking is the prerequisite for contenders; bold and inventive marketing campaigns will be in with a chance to scoop a ´Fox`.

This year’s awards fall under four main headings:

  • Industry Impact Awards
  • Media Strategy Impact Awards
  • Craft Awards
  • Cross Category Awards which house the most coveted awards of the night, including Marketing Team of the Year; Agency of the Year and Black Fox.

Speaking on the Awards, Fiona Heffernan, Head of Mail Media in An Post said: “The An Post Smart Marketing Awards are an ideal opportunity for marketing teams across all disciplines, regardless of their budget, to showcase their most innovative, intelligent and creative work from the past year.”

This year’s awards will be hosted in the InterContinental Dublin, on Thursday 21 April, the MC’s for the evening arewell known TV and Radio presenter Dermot Whelan and TV and Radio broadcaster, author and columnist, Kathryn Thomas and attendees will have the chance to soak up some tunes at the onsite post-event after party.

Additionally, An Post will this year be offering third level students, pursuing a career in marketing a cash prize of €3,000 and a lucrative internship prospect.
