Sandyford Business District (SBD), Ireland’s largest business improvement district, in collaboration with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, is preparing for a milestone Wellness Week this year.

A decade since the event began, the benefits and popularity of the event have grown exponentially with over 26,000 employees benefitting this year.

This year’s milestone Wellness Week will include an extensive lineup of activities focused on health, beauty, lifestyle, well-being, and fitness.

Commitment to health and wellbeing

Taking place from Tuesday, 5 May to Friday, 8 May the programme is a testament to SBD’s commitment to health and wellbeing, and investment in a range of quality events for the benefit of employees, businesses and residents in the district, while giving organisations in the sector a platform to showcase their business.

Throughout the week, SBD will collaborate with businesses across the district to host a range of live events each day.

Participants will have the opportunity to join fitness classes, enter competitions, and participate in sports challenges.

Among the activities in the spotlight this year are:

  • 7-a-side soccer tournament: May 5 & 6
  • Sandyford’s Fittest Company Competition: May 5
  • Sandyford’s Sharpest Company Competition: May 6
  • Drivalia Sandyford 5K: May 7
  • Free gym and fitness sessions
  • Health, beauty and lifestyle offers

“The event has gone from strength to strength, growing in popularity every year.
