Tesco recalls popular baby’s toy over choking fears
Tesco has recalled this popular child's toy after a range of complaints revealed that the toy can break open to reveal beads within, which present a choking hazard.

The Kids II Oball rattle toy has been recalled by Tesco, Toys R’Us, Smyths and other major retailers, and pulled from shelves after it emerged the toy presents a choking hazard for children.
Reports have emerged from the US of children gagging on small orange beads that are exposed if the toy is broken open.
In a statement online, Tesco said is its “recalling its Kids II Oball Rattles because there is a chance that small parts can release from the chamber.
“These small parts may pose a choking hazard for children under three years of age,” the company said.
The details of the toy are as follows: “Model number 81031 sold after January 1, 2016, with one chamber containing all orange beads and the following “T” date codes: T3065, T0486, T1456, T2316, T2856. The date is located on a small triangle on the inner surface of the product.”
