McCarthy’s Eurospar Kilkenny announced its partnership with Trail Kilkenny, giving local Irish food and beverage producers throughout the county the chance to profile their products, through greater exposure on the supermarket’s shelves.

So far, Eurospar Kilkenny has signed up 16 local suppliers, featuring more than 80 products across numerous categories, providing them with exposure and access to several thousand consumers. The supermarket has also developed special signage and promotional material to alert customers to goods of local origin.

The new suppliers are Ballyfoyle Ham, Coole Pump Dairies, Cramers Grove Ice-cream, Goatsbridge Trout Farm, Happy Heart Oil, Highbank Organic Orchard, Keoghs Model Bakery, Kilkenny Free Range, Knockdrinna Farmhouse Cheese, Lavistown Foods, Maureens Home Baking, Mileeven Fine Foods, Mosses Apple Juice, Oldtown Hill Bakery, Tess’s Home Baking and The Truffle Fairy.
