Aldi Ireland last month launched its first television ad campaign to highlight its ‘Super 6’ special offers on fruit and veg. The campaign, “which will run on an ongoing basis,” emphasises the discounter’s low price position while underlining its good quality message.

The campaign, entitled “69c a great price whichever way you look at it”, was developed by McCann Erickson and is designed to promote Aldi’s “Super 6” lines of fruit and veg on offer, which change on a monthly basis.

The 20-second adverts run across “a broad range of terrestrial and satellite channels,” beginning on 30 March. They will be updated each month to reflect Aldi’s new offers on fresh fruit and veg, which it highlights are sourced 40% from Ireland.
