Value Centre Carlow has completed a €200,000 investment programme, in a move to deliver “a greatly enhanced customer experience”.

To celebrate this investment, the branch held a launch event on 5 April to give customers an opportunity to see the new-look branch and to meet their local rugby hero, Sean O’Brien.

Improvements to the business include general building upgrades, a new LED energy efficient lighting system installed throughout and full branch remerchandising to make browsing easier for the customer. There has also been an upgrade to the checkout area with a new complimentary customer coffee facility.

Margaret Joyce, manager, Value Centre Carlow said the investment has had a big impact on staff as well as customers.

“Sales have been very strong since the relaunch,” said Joyce. “There are 16 staff in Value Centre Carlow and this investment means a lot to us as we are very proud of our new look branch. This investment demonstrates our commitment to the local economy. We expect our customers to benefit from these upgrades and continue to enjoy industry leading customer service levels.”
