Newtownmountkennedy has recently received  a new outlet operating with Daybreak grocery and a Bewley’s Coffee cafe. The outlet sits on a brand new €4 million Texaco-branded service station, just over 200 yards from Junction 12 on the main Dublin to Wexford dual-carriageway.

The service station is family-owned and operated by Gerard Marbach and his son, Benjamin Marbach. Managed on a 8.5 acre site, the area is lined with trees, and includes a seating area.

According to a press statement, the future plans for the site include the construction of a motor showroom, and an additional retail development built on the Continental model and styled on the lines of Cork’s distinguished English Market. The addition would also include a bakery, restaurant, and multiple other artisan outlets, along with a 250 car parking space.
