The gates are open at Taste of Dublin, the food festival taking place in Dublin city centre’s Iveagh Gardens. Thousands of visitors are expected over the weekend, while Love Irish Food brands from all across Ireland prepare to exhibit at a large-scale celebration of the culinary arts.

As crowds make their way around the stunning Gardens, tasting and talking their way through the weekend, they will meet the makers of the Love Irish Food brands up close, and learn more about the skills and stories behind the vast array of Irish food companies out there today.

Heritage brands, household names and homegrown artisans make up the Love Irish Food producers present at Taste this year.

To be a part of the group, makers must meet the credentials of being manufactured inside the Republic of Ireland and using Irish ingredients where possible. Brands in attendance include: Ballygowan, Ballymaloe, Club Mixers,  Genovese, Keelings, Keoghs, Manor Farm , O’ Donnell’s and Sussed.

Love Irish Food was launched in 2009 as a way to let shoppers know that a brand is Irish produced.
