Four-year deal with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) expected to drive growth for Rustlers, the number one brand within Ireland's micro snacking category

Rustlers, the number one brand in Europe for proper flame grilled burgers, is aiming to create significant growth for the Irish micro snacking category, through its four-year deal with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI).

Now an Official Sponsor of the Republic of Ireland team and the title sponsor of Colleges & Universities Football, the deal marks the first major sponsorship for the brand which sees Rustlers supporting Ireland’s football heroes, both at international & college level, up to the Summer of 2021.

Adrian Lawlor, ‎marketing and business development director at Kepak, said: “We’re really excited about this partnership. Rustlers has significant headroom for growth in Ireland and our key challenge is to drive awareness and trial. The partnership, and in particular the Colleges and Universities link, is a fantastic platform for us to really engage with our core target audience of 16-24’s.”

Rustlers has teamed up with the Daily Mail Group to create an online video series to promote the partnership to shoppers across Ireland. The campaign is expected to generate over 1 million views in a series of fun football videos to engage shoppers and encourage purchase.

The sponsorship will also be supported by wide-ranging retailer activation campaign including sampling, POS and ticket giveaways to drive shoppers to store in record numbers.
