The National Lottery has introduced a new lunchtime Daily Million draw at 2pm. Giving players the opportunity to become instant millionaires, Daily Million draws now take place at both 2pm and 9pm, seven days a week, for just €1 per play.

The popular number draw game, launched in September 2012, awards a top jackpot prize of €1 million where six numbers are matched. Players can win an instant €500,000 with Daily Million Plus if lucky enough to mark off six numbers. In addition, the games provide for a range of prizes to be won for matching three numbers or more.

To mark the enhanced game play, statistics released by the National Lottery today reveal that there have been 28 Daily Million jackpot and Daily Million Plus winners to date, with over €35 million paid out in prizes since the inception of the game. Additionally, Dublin, Kerry and Mayo ranked as Ireland’s luckiest Daily Million counties last year.

National Lottery’s Good Causes benefit from the sale of all National Lottery games with approximately 30% of all National Lottery games benefiting a variety of projects across the country.  To date the National Lottery has raised over €4.7 billion for Good Causes which has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals.

The new Daily Million 2pm draw began today at National Lottery outlets nationwide and online at www.lottery.ie.
