Chris Martin, CEO of the Musgrave Group, has been appointed to the board of BITCI (Business in the Community Ireland), a voluntary group which aims to promote responsible business in the country. The group cited Musgrave’s noted commitment to sustainability as one of the reasons for the appointment.

“Business in the Community provides invaluable guidance to businesses seeking to build their sustainability credentials,” Martin said, “and I am looking forward to supporting this agenda and sharing our experience at Musgrave. Sustainability has been a guiding force throughout our company’s 140-year history. We attribute our success in part to our strong focus on long-term relationships and responsible business practices put in place by our founders, Thomas and Stuart Musgrave.

“We recognise that at Musgrave we have, within our sphere of influence, an opportunity and a responsibility to shape and influence positive change and we are taking action in this regard. The objectives of the BITCI are perfectly aligned to our own objective of continuing to grow good business.”
