The Maxol group opened the doors to its latest service station last week, in Dundalk, Co. Louth. Maxol Mace, on the Dublin Road, bills itself as a vibrant convenience destination which includes a spacious forecourt and a Moreish cafe promoting the ‘Fresh Food at Maxol’  concept, as well as complimentary wi-fi, a 24-hour pay-at-pump facility and  a drive-through car wash.

The new store is the latest in a busy time of investment and expansion for Maxol; this is the group’s fifth new site in six months, and the 22nd in just two years.

“We’re delighted to welcome the first customers through the doors of Maxol, Dublin Road,” said Brian Donaldson, group general manager for the Maxol Group. “The opening of this new convenience destination was designed not only to meet the needs of motorists on the go, but for the community of Dundalk as well as the growing demand from local studetns for a comperehensive service offering.” (The new store is situated directly opposite the Dundalk Institute of Technology).

Colin Fee, the proprieter of the new store, said that he and his family were proud to open the doors of Maxol Dublin Road. “The initial reaction from the local community has been fantastic,” he said. “Everyone is so supportive and we cannot wait to deliver the best customer experience for everybody who walks through the door.”

The new opening brings the number of Maxol stations in Ireland to 236.
