As any retailer will agree, the customer is at the heart of any business, and their in-store experience is key to understanding where any aspect of the business can be improved. Maxol’s latest effort to understand and harness that experience is with TruRating, an anonymous live survey system that queries customers on their expreience in-store as it happens.

As a customer prepares to pay via the payment terminal, TruRating will first ask a single question on an aspect of their experience. They may be queried on the product range avaiable, or the quality of the service, or another range of questions. Each customer is only asked one question, with a answer rating of 0-9.

It is completely voluntary and anonymous, the company says.

TruRating has gone live at Maxol stations in Adamstown, Donabate, Dundalk, Maynooth, Ardbrae and Long Mile Road, with a nationwide roll-out planned for the coming months.

Joanne Werker, chief operating officer at TruRating, said she was excited to be working with Maxol. “As our first live client in Ireland, we’re delighted to be the mechanism of choice for Maxol’s commitment to the best customer experience possible. We look forward to rolling out TruRating in the company’s other sites as we move forward.”
