Valero launches ‘Win your fill of fuel around Ireland with Texaco’ promotion

Valero, which markets fuel in Ireland under the Texaco brand, has intensified its drive to win an even bigger share of the Irish motor fuels market with the launch of a ‘Win Your Fill of Fuel Around Ireland’ promotion currently in operation at participating Texaco service stations across the country. Under the scheme, which continues until 6 May next, motorists who spend €30 or more on fuel at any participating station can enter a draw, the prize for which is a free €500 Texaco fuel voucher*, with one winner chosen from each participating station.

Dubliner Cheese celebrates International Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day

International Grilled Cheese (aka Toasted Cheese) Sandwich Day took place on Tuesday 12 April. A survey conducted by Dubliner Cheese to celebrate shows that a toasted cheese special along with a cuppa tea tops the poll as Ireland’s favourite! In fact, 31.4% of respondents admitted to eating toasted cheese sandwiches more than once a week with a further 30.6% eating them at least once a week.
