Kerry Group, the agri-food manufacturing business which owns brands such as Diarygold, Denny, Charleville and more, has published its financial report for 2017, which shows healthy growth for the business last year.

The main takeaway from the lengthy report is that the group’s revenue was up 4.3% in volume to €6.4 billion. Individually, the group’s Taste and Nutrition segments totalled €5.2 billion (+4.7%), while Consumer Foods grew by €1.3 billion (+2.4%).

Commenting on the results, Kerry Group chief executive Edmond Scanlon added that Kerry Group had delivered strong top-line growth and sustained business development in 2017.
“Adjusted earnings per share increased by 5.5%,” Scanlon said, “reflecting 9.4 % growth over the prior year on a constant currency basis. In 2018 we expect to deliver adjusted earnings per share growth of 6% to 10% on a constant currency basis.”
