The hunt is on for Ireland’s best burger!
A new event seeking Ireland's finest burger has been launched. Sponsored by Kepak and supported by number of well-known brands, the event will invite restaurants and other outlets from around the country to take part and compete to win the title of Ireland's Best Burger.

The hunt is on for Ireland’s best burger, as food lovers all over the country gear up for the first ever National Burger Day!
Ireland’s first ever National Burger Day will take place on 21 June, sponsored by Kepak, and supported by Irish burger favourites including Coca-Cola, Heinz and Dubliner Cheese. Participating outlets across Ireland will provide customers a “Buy one get one free” offer with their signature burgers, while a public vote will attempt to find the nation’s number one offering.
Voting for Ireland’s Best Burger will commence on 28 May, when customers throughout the country will have the chance to cast their vote for the country’s most “legendary” burger. Competing outlets will range from fast-food, food-to-go, hotels, pubs and gourmet burger joints, while the winning entry will fly away with a trip for two to New York City, the home of the hamburger.
“Kepak is delighted to able to bring National Burger Day to Ireland,” said Bláthnaid Ní Fhátharta, Kepak marketing director. “National Burger Day promises to be a huge hit with customers, and we’ve a heavyweight advertising and PR campaign lined up to make sure that everybody is talking about it.
