In a first for the immensely popular Taste of Dublin festival, renowned celebrity chef and ethical food advocate Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has been confirmed as the special guest for Friday 15th June. The broadcaster and author will host a special cooking demonstration and Q&A at main sponsor Neff's Taste Kitchen.

The renowned Taste of Dublin festival is looming, and will return to Iveagh Gardens in the heart of Dublin City Centre. One of the new additions for the 2018 event is the Neff Taste Kitchen, in association with the kitchen appliance manufacturer and lead sponsor of the event.

With just four weeks to go before the event, celebrity chef and renowned ethical food advocate has been confirmed as very special guest at Taste of Dublin on Friday 15th June. Whittingstall will appear at the Neff Taste Kitchen, where he will introduce a cooking demo of his seasonal specialties and take part in a special Q&A.

Avril Bannerton, managing director of the event, said she is delighted to welcome Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall to Taste of Dublin. “We are incredibly excited to see Hugh work his magic at the Neff Taste Kitchen,

“We love Hugh’s approach to food and ingredients and his passion and honesty,” Bannerton said, “so we are incredibly excited to see him work his magic at the Neff Taste Kitchen. It’s a great honour for both Neff and Taste of Dublin!”

The Neff Taste Kitchen is the biggest demo theatre to ever feature at the event and will host both world-class chefs cooking to an avid audience and Irish producers showcasing their innovative products for the duration of Taste of Dublin from the 14 – 17 of June, 2018. These producers are part of Neff’s hand-picked Ingredients Series, and will take part in a range of promotions for Neff as the year progresses.
