This month sees the launch of Heineken’s new UEFA Champions League campaign “Champion the match”, which will also link football fans directly to a new on pack promotion “Win every minute of every match” in the off-trade. It offers Heineken fans multiple opportunities to win during actual UEFA Champions League games including Heineken and Adidas branded watches, footballs, gearbags, hoodies and even foosball tables.

The promotion will feature heavily on special packs of eight pack can, 12 pack bottle and 20 pack bottle, and will also include a limited edition 50cl can and 33cl bottle.

The campaign will be promoted on TV (with a special 15” end tag driving consumers directly to the off-trade) targeted OOH, digital, social media and PR. Heineken will partner with participating off-trade outlets and drive support for the campaign via a range of extensive eye-catching POS and in store theatre for a six week period.
