Insomnia Coffee, one of Ireland’s best-known coffee chains, has joined forces with fashion and accessories label Manley to design its range of Christmas cups for the coming season.

The Christmas Cups, designed by Emma Manley, the label’s owner and creative director, have become available at Insomnia branches across the country, with the occasion marked on social media with the hashtag #LoveBeingFestive.

The Christmas Cup range has three designs and a central theme. The company says Manley has created a “contemporary and powerful motif”, that conjures up “the spirit of an Insomnia Christmas.”

The designs include a snowman figure, a red-nosed reindeer and a special “studded leather snowflake” design with Manley’s trademark “texture detailing and popping tones.”

Emma Manley says she wanted to design a beautiful range of cups that conveys the happiness and spirit of the Christmas season. “It was great to work with an iconic Irish brand such as Insomnia,” she says, “who always have an appetite for innovation and seek out opportunities of doing things differently.”

Along with the cups, Insomnia has launched a range of festive snacks that includes pastries and cakes, gingerbread, red velvet cake and two new Christmas sandwiches.

Insomnia chairman Bobby Kerr said Insomnia wants to give its customers a “truly festive-flavoured experience” with the cups and snack range.
